Chelsea calls retired goalkeeper Cheek for their Premier League list

Chelsea FC announced today, Tuesday, that retired goalkeeper Peter Cech has added to his Premier League list. The 38-year-old Czech goalkeeper is currently working as the club’s technical and performance advisor.
And Chelsea explained that he resorted to this step as a precaution due to the increasing number of people infected with the emerging “Corona” virus, according to German News Agency.
Cech retired from football in May 2019 after a busy march on the soccer field.
Cech joined Arsenal in 2015 after spending 11 seasons with Chelsea, during which the former Czech goalkeeper proved to be one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
Cech holds the record for the number of matches during which he kept clean sheets in the English Premier League, with 202 matches, and the 2004-2005 season also witnessed another record as he succeeded in maintaining a clean sheet in 22 matches, in addition to carrying the record for the number of matches he kept On clean sheets with one club, with a score of 162 games with Chelsea.
Cech joined Chelsea in 2004 from Rennes, France, to help his team win the Premier League title for the first time in fifty years.
Cech won four Premier League titles with Chelsea, as well as four FA Cup titles, one European League title, three League Cup titles and the UEFA Champions League title in 2012, when he confronted three penalties during the famous match against Bayern Munich in the final of the tournament.
Cech lost his place as a main goalkeeper at Chelsea in 2014 to Thibaut Courtois, and left Stamford Bridge at the end of the same season after setting a record for keeping a clean sheet in 228 games in all competitions with Chelsea.
Cech moved to Arsenal and became the main goalkeeper for the team over the course of three seasons, winning the FA Cup in 2017 before losing his role as main keeper to Bernd Leno.
Cech participated in 124 matches for the Czech Republic over 14 years before retiring from international football in 2016.
