Iran and Ghana affirm the development of agricultural cooperation

On Thursday, Shahrikh Shajari met with Ghana’s Acting Foreign Minister Habib Tijani in the Ghanaian capital, Accra.

During the meeting, which was also attended by the Iranian ambassador in Accra, the two sides emphasized the development of economic cooperation between the two countries and the transfer of Iranian agricultural knowledge and technology to Ghana.

The volume of Iran’s trade with the African continent in the first seven months of the current Iranian year (beginning March 21) more than 959,848 tons, valued at 180 million 432 thousand and 161 dollars.

Iran’s highest exports from these countries were to Ghana at 196,578 tons, equivalent to 52,813,515 dollars.
