In the context, Hashim al-Mousawi, leader of the “Harakat al-Nujaba” movement, said that the US Treasury Department, which took the decision on sanctions, today, Wednesday, is “the source of terrorist financing and has no legal value for its sanctions.”“.
Al-Mousawi stressed that the US administration “went too far in its intent and must pay the price for its unfair decisions,” describing Al-Muhammadawi’s status on the terrorism list as “insulting to the prestige of the state and its military institutions.”“.
